The image isn't mine, but it reflects my mood pretty accurately. I hope that, despite Friday the 13th, they will bring back my previous post about the Carnival in Saint Martin, as well as all of your precious comments.
Please, all of you, have a nice and predictable weekend!
What does Zorro do? splendid, as usual!
ReplyDeleteis it okay that I reposted one of your pictures? it's so ironic that that post, which i had deleted because i hadn't asked your permission, came back, but the post about my son finishing sophomore year in college, was lost.
ReplyDeleteand your wonderful carnival pictures were lost, even though I posted and deleted my post with your photograph AFTER your post on the carnival. this is so odd.
but please let me know if it is okay to have reposted your photograph. if it is not, i will delete it again. thank you olga.
Hi orfeenix,
ReplyDeleteZorro would be the first one to go in the unpredictable world of our blogosphere. NObody plays by the rules around here.
Hi Angella,
I'm really glad that you have posted my photo in your blog...I hope that the post about your son will be restored, and the blogosphere will carry on as usual.
Hello. My friend, Olga.
ReplyDeleteYour sweet message and works charms my heart.
The prayer for all peace...
a good weekend.
Dear hug, From Japan.

Olga, I understand that not a good mood. Will be well again. I believe on Friday, thirteen. Photographs lent by a clown full of despair. So keep cool and nice weekend. Peter.
ReplyDeleteHi ruma,
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your kind words and support!
Hi Peter,
I have to confess, I am not that desperate:) But Friday the 13th showed us some tricks. Thank you, dear friend, for your comment. Have a lovely weekend.
Scary and cool picture! I wish you a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteI think blogger has lost a lot sadly. I did comment on your carnival yesterday and loved all the colours. Hope you feel better now than the sad clown. It has been a bad 24 hours!! Have a good weekend Diane x
ReplyDeleteAll this blog crashing crap....
ReplyDeleteso I'm sure you didn't get my last comment about all your great St. Martin images. I don't remember what I said, except the women are so beautiful, your pics are so enjoyable, and I loved that motorcycle cop. Big smiles everywhere.
Now back to our regularly scheduled program . . .
Ha. Thanks, Olga.
xo
Lift your mood
ReplyDeletea pleasure to go to say hello.
happy weekend.
A lot was lost I think.....
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend Olga.
-Trevor
I wish you a lovely weekend Olga and hope you're feeling better now :)
ReplyDeleteI sure hope your posts resurface from the blogger mess! the only thing I lost is lovely comments, rather than posts. Still, I'd like them back too.
ReplyDeleteYes it has certainly been a Blogger mess, very frustrating! I am still checking my blog.
ReplyDeleteI hope your lovely image and post does return along with thr comments.
Try to have a lovely weekend!
xoxoxo ♡
lift up your mood...life is like that;one day up the next down...but, this is what makes life so interesting, we can never get same taste tooo often hum?
ReplyDeleteI love the image above and all your posts too!

Hello Olga:
ReplyDeleteWe loved your last post and cannot believe that all that colour, fun and liveliness should have disappeared downwards in that Titanic of a Blogger fiasco on Thursday. We are so very sorry.
We too lost eighteen comments, hence in some cases no replies, but we did, apparently, get our actual post into a lifeboat!
I did see and enjoy all your pictures and comments about St Martin very much. No need for more! We do put too high expectations in these machines, and that is just the perfect recipe for frustration afterwards. I have try to take all the mess somehow philosophically. There is not such a thing as a perfect world, but St. Martin wouldn't be a bad substitute :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Martina,
ReplyDeleteThe picture is really scary and cool. The clown couldn't take the pressures of life. Please, have a wonderful weekend.
Hi Diane,
Thank you for commenting on my carnival post. I really appreciate it. In the past few days, there have been some unhappy events all over the world :(
Hi Rick,
Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you enjoyed my carnival photos. I'm still hoping that it will be restored. If not, I will re-post it myself, because I've promised those photos to some people from Saint Martin.
Hi Ricardo Miñana,
Thank you for your support. Have a great weekend!
Hi Trevor,
Sometimes, quiet weekends are the best. Too bad we can take them for granted :)
Hi M@risa,
ReplyDeleteI might have overreacted a tiny bit. Now, everything is fine, and I hope it's the same for you :)
Hi hila,
It's too bad that these things happen. It feels like a little connection is lost. Maybe I'm exaggerating again.
Hi Diane,
I have these scary thoughts sometimes - what if something happens that will obliterate all of our posts? I surely hope not.
Hi Lila Check,
I absolutely agree that life's ups and downs bring some sense of being alive. However, it must be in the artist's nature to be a little idealistic, and wonder why strange coincidences, or certain mishaps, can't just be pleasant.
Hi Jane and Lance Hattatt,
I think that, if they don't restore my carnival post after a few days, I will re-post it myself. I have promised it to some people from Saint Martin. Also, it's nice to take matters into my own hands. Sorry about your lost comments :(
Hi Pet,
I consider it normal if I have negative emotions in regards to stupid technology...being able to feel such things is what makes me different from them.
Blogger was pretty frustrating. I still remember those vivid pictures Olga. All is not lost!
ReplyDeleteHiya Olga, I have not been blogging for a few days (before the crash) so I'm afraid I didn't see it. I do hope it somehow comes back. I have learned to back up everything now, each post, it is so hard to recreate what is lost sometimes. Very frustrating, I am thinking of finding another way of sharing my stories without blogging...I don' trust them anymore.
ReplyDeleteOlga mood! Life will again be the color of Saint-Martin Carnival!
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
What a cool, but sad photo!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about your previous post. I was lucky enough to escape the blogger havoc since I was out of town. But it grieves me to read everyone else's troubles...
Clown triste, mais le train de la vie ne peut arrêter le monde et son bruit assourdissant !
ReplyDeleteBon week-end .
Dear Ольга,
ReplyDeleteочень красивейшее изображение !!!
Я хотел бы возблагодарить вас с моей всей душой с этим стихотворением -
А вы могли бы?
Я сразу смазал карту будня,
плеснувши краску из стакана;
я показал на блюде студня
косые скулы океана.
На чешуе жестяной рыбы
прочел я зовы новых губ.
А вы
ноктюрн сыграть
могли бы
на флейте водосточных труб?

Wladimir Majakowski
PS.Извинение для плохой перевод.
Meglena
Yikes! That's a very vivid photo!
ReplyDeleteDear Olga.
ReplyDeleteAs usual, your blog is stimulating and thoughful about posts!
How many times we are the clown and others the train???
Thanks for sharing!
Hi Lydia,
ReplyDeleteIt's true - it's interesting that, even if some posts disappear from the blogosphere, the impression of them remains. Thank you for the encouragement.
Hi Dolly,
I'm glad that you happily escaped any losses. As far as computer stuff goes, one always needs to keep backups. That's what my husband has been instructing me about, at great lengths :)
Hi wunderkammer,
Thank you for the support. I have certain promises to keep to the acquaintances I made in Saint Martin :) That's why I need to restore my post.
Hi Jennifer Fabulous,
Judging by your latest post, you had enough emotional perturbations without the input from the blogosphere. I'm glad you didn't lose anything :)
Hi versus,
Quoi qu'il arrive, c'est pour le mieux:) C'est la conclusion à laquelle j'en suis venu à. Je vais être plus disciplinés en ce qui concerne la réalisation des sauvegardes.
Hi Megi,
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you left me this message :) And that you're blogging again. Vladimir Majakowski has a special place in my heart. Despite the fact that he was so loud and gregarious, I consider him one of the most subtle poets of the 20th century Russia. I know lots of people won't agree :)
Hi Talli,
It expresses perfectly how I felt at the time :) In the face of technology, we little fragile clowns sometimes give up hope :) It's up to our followers to restore our faith.
Hi artebaiao,
You are absolutely right. In the past, I have frequently felt like such a clown. These days, it happens more rarely :)
Yes, Olga, missing posts and missing comments, seemingly have torn apart the fabric of the blogging community. It shows how much this has become part of our daily lives.
ReplyDeleteI hope your weekend has been fantastic.
ReplyDeleteHi R. Jacob,
ReplyDeleteYes, I can see it now :) Blogging is a part of my life. Amazing...
Hi Monica,
My weekend is really quiet. It is raining and I am going to Portuguese fish market right now :)
Yay, I'm glad the pictures are back up. They are as vibrant as ever!
ReplyDeleteOlga toujours aussi merveilleux commentaires et vos photos hum ! un délice aussi !
ReplyDeletebises
Hi Lydia,
ReplyDeleteI took destiny in my own hands:)
Hi jeanfi,
Merci pour votre soutien!
