Where to Buy Your Gourmet Food in Toronto
Whenever I want to buy deliciously prepared food, find an excellent selection of cheeses, add a quality olive oil to my collection, sample some interesting sauces, taste a variety of aromatic teas and coffees, discover a new type of organic snack, or buy a luxurious box of chocolates for my friends, I don't need to bounce around different stores all over the city. I can just pop down the street and visit Max's Market at 2299 Bloor Street West in Toronto.
Please, have a look around with me, but be sure to arrive having eaten, and don't say I didn't warn you.
The next image isn`t mine, but I hope that Santa Claus will be generous to all of you.

I want to spend Christmas in that store! Hahahaha
ReplyDeleteLord, Olga! Did you go crazy and start shooting away in that wonderful store, or what?! ;-) I particularly enjoyed looking at the cute "petits fours" (mini pastries) and the cheese selection. Impressive! Now, one suggestion: Your next post should be entitled: "Where do you work off [Holiday] food in Toronto?" ;-) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
ReplyDeleteI love these shops but don't use them. It is very well depicted. They gave you the run of the place. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHuhhh.. huhh... tätä yltäkylläisyyttä...!
ReplyDeleteKaiken lisänä vielä Joulupukkeja kokonainen 'mäellinen'...
Täytyy sanoa - olet pannut meidät katsojat valinnan-vaikeuden eteen.
Mainio kuvasarja...!
Hyvää ja Rauhaisaa Joulua.

ReplyDeletethe last shot is funny !
I wish you a wonderful christmas
Hello Olga:
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful store. Even in London we doubt that we have ever seen anything in the way of a specialist food shop quite like this. And, as you will know for yourself, anything similar in Budapest can be nothing more than an unattainable dream.
But how wonderful it all is. We have literally 'drooled' over your images, and in particular the cheese counter which appears to stretch into infinity. And those cakes!! We can so easily imagine spending the entire day in Max's, and still not really seeing everything. A marvellous post, Olga.
Holy moly - if I ever entered that store I´d never leave! Looks divine! :-)
ReplyDeleteобожаю шляцца по таким магазинам, доставило!))
ReplyDeleteПервую фоту с хлебом - на постер!
Вообще, что еще можно рассматривать с таким бесстыдным интересом, как еду? ;)
wow, this place looks like full of anything you can just think of!
ReplyDeleteOlga,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful place this shop is! Oh, your photos are so excellent that they make me want to taste every food. Especially a wide variety of cheese collection interests me very much. I wish I bought a ticket to fly to this place.
Best wishes,
keiko

ReplyDeleteFelices Fiestas.Un abrazo enorme...
So I'm munching on some grapefruit thinking, "Yeah, I can handle this." As I scrolled down, taking each picture in, the grapefruit didn't seem so yummy any more.
ReplyDeleteThose pics are divine! I tell you, I'd have to be accompanied if I went there, someone to make sure I didn't get TOO excited and try to claim all the deliciousness for my own.
Thanks so much. You always show the keen prowess of your artful eye.
Now that you hurt my feelings-thank goodness it's almost lunch time! How do I get to this store?;) Yumzy! Beautiful photos! =)
ReplyDeleteOooooh, I wish I was there! Your pictures are wonderful.

ReplyDeleteI wish I could snap my fingers and go grocery shopping in Toronto any time I wanted. Lol. This is...just awesome.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic store! I don’t have a store like that in my neighborhood. Even in the big cities, I don’t come up with stores with such a splendid lineup of delicious items. The foods are too visually appealing through your stunning photos. If I live close to it, I’d definitely gain weight.
ReplyDeleteWish you a peaceful and healthy Christmas and all the best in 2012.
Yoko
The presentation of all the wonderful goodies is I am sure followed by the aromas and taste sensations! A pictorial splendor of culinary delights!
