The Theory of Relativity and the Theory of Probability - no casualties

This isn't my photo - its function is to draw your attention.

If you mix two theories together, the cocktail will look something like this. A tree is going to fall on a day when there's hardly any wind. It is going to fall in front of the entrance to our apartment building, which is usually full of baby strollers, grandparents, and visitors.

The tree is going to fall on a moving van, which just happened to be parked in the wrong place and in the opposite direction.

At the moment that the tree is going to fall down, three movers and one driver are going to be located inside the building, and not, as it were, inside the vehicle.

At the moment that the tree is going to fall down, the street that is reasonably busy on a typical afternoon is going to be free of passing cars.

If you mix the above two theories, all of this is going to happen directly underneath our balcony.

Probability theory is concerned with the analysis of random phenomena.

  2. Hello Olga,
the scientist in this post bodybuilder body tattooed with the formula!
Humor and alert, followed by the sequence of photos of the truck hit the tree. Casual? or probable?
    I liked everything!

  3. I don't think like a well educated person. I don't talk like I am smart either.

I would call it coincidence of events. Angels at work. Everything happens for a reason. There is lesson in everything that happens.

Thankfully no one was injured. And it is pretty cool that it all happen beneath your window, for you to snap photos to share with us. To get us all thinking-

  21. I don't really believe in mere coincidence :) It's like there's a system of some kind for everything that happens.

  27. Hi Diane,
Yes, these kinds of things do happen. Maybe they're meant to remind us that we ought to be careful no matter what.

    Hi Antonio,
I'm glad you enjoyed my post, despite the fact that the event was unexpected and not particularly positive. I suppose there is some dark humous about this situation.

    Hi Angella,
    Thank God indeed!

    Hi R. Jacob,
I only hope that these kinds of events will not happen on our street too often.

    Hi Misty Meadows,
I'm with you in this discussion. Although my skeptical friends consider it evident that things happen just because they happen, with no relation to anything else.

  28. Hi Gisa,
It's a miracle that nobody was hurt. After that picture, I see Einstein in a totally different way :)

    Hi Sandy,
I prefer Einstein in this fashion :) There were many people taking photos of this strange event.

Our street is rather old, and the trees are therefore also old. When we have storms, the trees shake.

    Hi aguja,
I can call it a miracle. I have seen this sort of thing for the first time in my life.

    Hi floweringmama,
I also have a scientist friend who looks very sexy :)

  29. Hi Ricardo,
I wish you a happy vacation. Be careful of the trees!

    Hi Jorge,
I agree that events that are potentially tragic can turn out well in the end.

    Hi Maelgi,

    Hi hila,
It's true that it's good luck that this event ended as well as it did.

    Hi Richard,

  30. Hi Veronique,
With this build, you can forget about his hairstyle :) You can't imagine how many people with cameras appeared on our street after the tree fell.

    Hi redrose,
I hope that these events will not take place on our street too often!

    Hi Pet,
Thank you for the link. I prefer a simple and quiet life.

    Hi Colores,
Yes, indeed. It seems like in real life, miracles do happen.

    Hi Jenny,
I couldn't help sharing such an extraordinary event, which happened right underneath our windows.

  31. Hi Dianne,
The truck was filled with some people's stuff. I hope they had it insured :(

    Hi Ekaterina,
I agree with you. Although I have pragmatic and skeptical friends who tell me that it's no use looking for hidden meanings.

    Hi Fábio,
Yes, with the trees as old as the ones on our street, you would think twice before walking down it on any given day :)

    Hi Talli,
Real life shows that miracles happen in a potentially horrible situation.

    Hi kopeechki,

    Hi Dolly,
I suppose that the trees that we have on our street needed more care and attention from the city. You can't imagine what happens after a storm. The whole street is covered in branches.

    Hi Ola,
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my comments.
