Cayo Coco, Cuba

Since I started my blog, I haven't been absent for such a long time. I'm alive and well, and I even had a vacation in Cuba. I have been following all of your blogs, but in the last two months, I haven't had the ability and opportunity to write. I myself find it surprising. I hope that soon I will find some inspiration, and then I will post more often.

The above photo was taken on the first day of our vacation. This whole dramatic scenario took place during the sunrise. Below is the photo of our hotel.

Just joking - actually our hotel looked like this:

Joking again - below are actual photos from the balcony of our room.

The hotel was quite standard; very comfortable.

What was interesting was that we had an official beach, and a secretive beach that could be reached by this path:

This is the view that would unfold before us:

I hope you can take a walk down the beach with me:

Sometimes, we met people who decided to take a break from work:

While others were still busy. Please note the size of the knife in his hand:

To be continued!

  1. This place looks very nice, Olga! I almost believed you stayed in that little hut! Although it must be nice and exciting to stay there for a little relaxation, no? Hahaha Looking forward to your writing! :)

  2. So relaxing. I could watch the surf, and just listen, all day long.
    Beautiful shots. Thanks for sharing.
My blood pressure is now lower.

  3. Glad you are back - this is nice. I went to Varadero in Cuba once, amazing beach.

  4. Marvelous holidays !
I would love to rest on this beach...
    Best regards from France,

  5. Nothing like a pieceful beach to disentangle a litle. Greetings from afar; although we weren't a far from each other wher you came to the Caribbean.

  6. Welcome back Olga. Cuba is a place I would like to visit one day. I like what you are showing here... especially the beautiful secluded beach... Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

  7. Wherever you are you always take the best shots. I love those coconuts :)

  8. Nice vacation spot! There is something to be said about moving into a new home though, somehow it rechannels energy. I have lived in my home for 17 years, and I must say my life did change because of it, not bad or good just changed. Perhaps a reason for not writing???

  9. it looks like you spent holidays in Paradise:) no wonder you did not write:)

  15. Nice to see that you had a nice holiday. How are things in Cuba nowadays?
This is what I wrote about Cuba last year:

  16. Hinoa kuvausta - kerrassaan mainio kuva-sarja loman vietosta.
    Kovasti käy kateeksi.
Näillä kuvilla selviän pitkään täällä pakkasessa.
    Nytkin paukkuu pakkanen -25ºasteen paikkeilla.
    Normaalia Suomen-Lapin talvea.
    Terveisin eko

  17. Lovely to have a post from you Olga, but one should never feel pressured to blog for the sake of it. This was a post worth waiting for and we will wait again my blogging friend. Take Care Olga.
